Driving Recovery Across Region 5 Year 2!

Happening All September Long!

The Region 5 Recovery Hub (R5RH) is excited to announce the 2nd Annual Driving Recovery Across Region 5—a month-long celebration of recovery, resilience, and community!

Throughout September, in honor of National Recovery Month, we’ll be traveling across Region 5 to uplift voices of lived experience, strengthen peer support networks, and spotlight the incredible work being done in our recovery communities. From resource fairs to storytelling events, each stop will bring connection, inspiration, and hope.

Join us as we drive recovery forward—one mile, one story, and one community at a time.

PMHCA in conjunction with our sister organization The Pennsylvania Peer Support Coalition (PaPSC) have demonstrated a truly peer-run environment and have been awarded The Department of Drug and Alcohol Programs (DDAP) Region 5 Recovery Hub Grant, which started July 1, 2023. The Region 5 Recovery Hub will serve 13 counties: Adams, Bedford, Blair, Cumberland, Dauphin, Franklin, Fulton, Huntingdon, Juniata, Lebanon, Mifflin, Perry, and York.

PMHCA is a statewide membership non-profit organization dedicated to assisting anyone seeking treatment or support for a mental illness, regardless of where they are in the process of healing. We advocate, educate, and promote recovery in all forms and individuals can also receive training from PMHCA in subjects like specialized peer support, LGBTQIA+ Issues, mental health advanced directives, trauma, and other topics. Supporting individuals through their unique recovery journeys is something PMHCA has been doing since our inception. We believe that human beings need to be treated through the whole health lens and we focus on making that clear in all the work we do.
