WELLNESS DAYS

The banner features circus tents, balloons, and a striped canopy.

In 2021, Youth MOVE PA launched Wellness Days across various regions across the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania. The initiative aimed to unite youth and young adults for a day of engaging activities and outdoor experiences. Participants took part in educational workshops, team-building exercises, art sessions, and other activities designed to foster leadership skills and provide opportunities for personal growth and skill development. Wellness Days are complimentary events that feature food, games, and various fun giveaways. Community organizations participate to engage attendees, discuss their roles within the community, and emphasize the importance of youth involvement.

Wellness Days 2025 by Youth MOVE PA is a vibrant, free summer event series celebrating its 5th year with a carnival-themed edition titled “Shattering the Stigma.” Designed to uplift youth, families, and service providers across Pennsylvania, the initiative brings communities together through engaging activities like music, balloon art, face painting, arts and crafts, and interactive workshops that promote leadership and personal growth. Hosted at Northmoreland Park in Apollo on June 12th and Kirby Park in Wilkes-Barre on July 12th, each gathering featured food trucks, giveaways, guest speakers, and resource booths—all aimed at fostering connection and breaking down mental health stigma.
