WHO WE ARE

Youth MOVE PA is a statewide youth & young adult advocacy organization dedicated to eliminating stigma surrounding mental health while promoting wellness and recovery for those seeking aid along their journey.

"Sources of Strength is the first suicide prevention program involving peer leaders to enhance protective factors associated with reducing suicide at the school population level." - American Journal of Public Health

Sources of Strength is the only evidence-based model that engages youth as peer leaders, and school staff as adult allies in the implementation of intentional campaigns to foster belonging, hope, and connection. Rather than a focus on reducing negative outcomes, SOS focuses on building desired states of being.

Youth Empowered Family Navigator Project

We are here to support you and your family during the critical transition from the Residential Treatment Facility (RTF) setting to your home environment. Our services begin two months prior to discharge and extend for 4 months post-discharge, ensuring you have the sustained and comprehensive support you need.

Our primary goal is to equip you and your family with the tools, resources, and support necessary for a smooth transition. We aim to foster strong connections, address both immediate and long-term needs, and promote recovery. By doing so, we enhance the overall well-being and success of the families we work with. We’ve put together a simple, trusted way to guide families - based on what really works - so they get what they need, when they need it.
